Main Content: This document specifies the main technical requirements and measurement methods for the 8K ultra-high-definition decoder using GY/T 368—2023 (referred to as "AVS3") for video decoding.

Scope of Application: This document applies to the development, production, application, testing, operation, and maintenance of the AVS3 8K Ultra HD Decoder (hereinafter referred to as "the Decoder").

Scope: This document is applicable to video encoding for broadcasting, internet television, online audio and video, digital storage media, and still image sequences.

Status: Currently effective.
