ATEME Kyrion™ CM5000 Encoder

The ATEME Kyrion CM5000 from France is an advanced modular encoder designed for satellite communication and IP network transmission.

It can be installed on single or dual-channel encoders, or a single-channel encoder and a DVB-S/S2 modulator.

The optional audio analog or digital input board can add two expansion slots.

Kyrion CM5000 offers MPEG-2 and MPEG-4 AVC video compression: from SD to HD and 1080p50/60, providing unparalleled video quality and reliability with 8-bit and 10-bit from 4:2:0 to 4:2:2.

The basic configuration of the DR8400 includes three different input interfaces: a built-in DVB-S/S2 interface, a Gb IP interface, and an ASI interface with a maximum speed of 200Mbps.
