Modify Audio Attributes in NMX

Starting from October 23, 2013: Jiangsu TV HD channel will change its audio encoding from MPEG-1 L2 to AC3. If operators using the Harley system encounter issues with audio processing, please go to the NMX network management system and change the stream type of Jiangsu TV's audio attributes in the input source to DVB-AC3. Additionally, add the DVB-AC3 audio descriptor to the audio of the output program; all other reception parameters remain unchanged.

Common Error Codes for Set-Top Boxes and Solutions

Common errors and solutions are as follows:

E00 Service not Scrambled.

Cause: The program is not scrambled and does not display on the set-top box.

Solution: If the set-top box is watching a transparent stream, it should display normally.

E04 Please insert Smartcard

Cause: The smartcard is not inserted.

Solution:

E05 Unknown Smartcard

Cause: Unknown smartcard or smartcard error.
