Harley's Spectrum™ MediaDeck™ 7000 is a highly stable video server system that has been a best-seller both domestically and internationally throughout its lifecycle.
MediaDeck7000The integrated video server offers convenient and cost-effective features, enabling the industry-leading Spectrum video server to achieve broadcast-quality and reliable performance. Utilizing the MediaDeck 7000 server, even the smallest broadcasting and programming operations can execute complex, file-based workflows across various video formats. The system incorporates up to four video channels, Gigabit Ethernet connectivity, and 3 + 1 RAID storage within a compact 1 RU chassis.
Utilizing the reliable Spectrum architecture, the MediaDeck 7000 server can be deployed instantly through Harmonic applications, providing upload, broadcast, and delay services. These applications include the Polaris™ broadcast management system and hundreds of third-party broadcast control and production applications. When paired with the Spectrum ChannelPort™ integrated channel broadcasting system, MediaDeck offers a truly unified channel packaging and broadcasting solution that integrates file broadcasting with graphic packaging, branding, and master control switching, accelerating the deployment of cost-effective new standard definition and high definition television channels.

MediaDeck7000Official production ceased in 2018, and related services for the complete equipment or accessories have now been discontinued.
The most vulnerable component of a video server—the hard drive—is currently out of stock from the manufacturer, making it impossible to place further orders.
- MediaDeck7000Faulty Hard Drive Replacement Plan
1. Using a unified approach to replace all hard drives in the server.
2. All four hard drives on the server need to be replaced directly, and after the replacement, the capacity will change to 4TB per drive.
3. The initial replacement of the compatible disk requires on-site technical service to complete the equipment version upgrade service and debugging work such as the file system and file migration of the compatible disk.
4. The hard drive warranty period is 12 months.
