Flashlink SDI-OE is a multi-bitrate optical-to-electrical conversion module designed to work with the SDI-OE-C1 backplane. This module can handle bitrates ranging from 19.4Mbps to 540Mbps. Its unparalleled signal accuracy makes it the preferred choice for fiber optic transmission, effortlessly managing both DVB-ASI signals and pathological SDI signals. The built-in distribution amplifier outputs 2 SDI signals, eliminating the hassle of external distributors. The optical input utilizes a precision PIN photodiode. The input sensitivity of SDI-OE-L exceeds -30dBm, making it suitable for applications over distances of up to 150 kilometers. For medium to short-distance applications, the SDI-OE-S with an input sensitivity of -20dBm can be used. The optical input complies with the SMPTE-197M standard and can be compatible with other optical transmission systems.
This functional module also has a non-regenerative clock version, model MF-OE-S-NRC, suitable for non-SDI digital signals such as MADI. It supports 19.4Mbps signals in accordance with the SMPTE310M standard. The SDI-OE module is provided simultaneously with the SDI-OE-C1 backplane.
