On September 12, 2023, LiveU launched a 4K/QHD video receiver compliant with the ST 2110 standard to facilitate the transition to IP in the broadcasting and live streaming sectors. This latest receiver can receive high-quality LRT (LiveU Reliable Transport) live video from any device within the LiveU ecosystem and seamlessly convert and output it as a data stream compliant with the 2110 standard. The SMPTE ST 2110 receiver not only eliminates the complexity of IP workflows but also provides a stable connection from the field to the device, enhancing efficiency and adaptability while maintaining synchronization throughout the process. Additionally, the LU4000 ST 2110 can be used as an all-in-one receiver in the video chain, reducing IT costs, time, and project expenses while ensuring that all processes remain synchronized.

Based on LiveU's LRT™ protocol, the LU4000 ST 2110 receiver can receive a single 4K video signal or up to four full HD live signals, enhancing the scalability of the ST 2110 standard while achieving high resilience and low-latency IP-to-IP workflows. The LU4000 ST 2110 receiver can be quickly deployed regardless of network configuration, automating tasks such as routing, switching, and binding individual video, audio, and data streams, thereby shortening the workflow.
The LU4000 ST 2110 is fully compliant with the NMOS (Networked Media Open Specifications) protocol, allowing for easy discovery and control of related devices. Its future-proof product architecture enables further simplification of workflows, providing customers with peace of mind and ease of upgrades.

Redundancy is crucial for video transmission. The LU4000 ST 2110 adheres to the redundancy standards defined by the 2022-7 SMPTE standard. Stable data stream transmission and hardware-based Precision Time Protocol (PTP) will synchronize all transmitted video, ensuring consistency and rock-solid stability.
