Israel's LiveU has made technical preparations for the commercial use of 5G.

July 20, Shanghai, Jiangsu Road, China Telecom
LiveU has recently completed video transmission tests based on 5G mobile communication networks. This testing incorporated real-world usage scenarios from SMG and was conducted in collaboration with several technology partners, including Nokia and China Telecom.

Currently, as one of the earliest 5G experimental networks in China to enter testing and operation, China Telecom has adopted the Per-NR protocol for data transmission.

LiveU utilized the LU600-HEVC video transmission device and the LU2000 multi-channel video decoder for point-to-point video transmission, successfully completing the tests. Throughout the entire testing process, the LU600 transmitted video without any stuttering, ensuring smooth video transmission and excellent picture quality.

LiveU products are currently technically prepared for the future commercial 5G networks and are actively collaborating with domestic partners for testing and product improvements. We are continuously exploring high-bandwidth, low-latency environments based on 5G networks to develop an increasing number of use cases and solutions.
