The system utilizes the Prostream 1000 stream processing platform produced by Harmonic, which serves as the core processor. It multiplexes, scrambles, shapes, and statistically multiplexes ASI and IP signals, significantly enhancing both usability and advancement for the front end of urban cable networks and terrestrial wireless systems.
