The cable network industry maintained steady growth, with a growth rate of 16%, generating revenue of 56.378 billion yuan.
The report states that by the end of 2011, 26 provinces (regions, municipalities) had completed or basically completed the integration of "one network per province." The "one network per province" for cable networks has been basically achieved, and the first batch of "three-network integration" pilot projects is steadily developing. The list of the second batch of pilot projects was announced by the end of 2011, increasing the number of pilot cities to 54.
Pang Jingjun stated that in 2012, the integration of broadcasting, television, and emerging media accelerated, expanding the coverage of publicity and enhancing its influence, with the advantages of new media such as the internet being fully realized.
