Australia's Sky News has placed its 7th order for the LU60 HD backpack.

Sky News, the most renowned multi-platform news provider in Australia and New Zealand, has placed its seventh order for LiveU's flagship product, the LU-60 series 3G news live broadcasting system. As a highlight of this latest collaboration, Sky News has adopted LiveU's latest antenna array technology, which utilizes a new approach for real-time transmission, representing a revolutionary advancement beyond traditional modem-based transmission. Recently, LiveU has also completed the integration of the Telstra 4G modem, enabling news coverage in areas where signal was previously poor or where 3G transmission was virtually impossible.
LiveU's flagship product, the LU-60, features new software that allows for multiple wireless connections, supporting up to 14 SIM cards (3G/4G). These can be unified to provide a stable, broadcast-quality uplink video signal, effectively packing a high-definition satellite truck into a backpack. Additionally, support for 1080i HD resolution and ultra-low latency of less than 1 second are new features of the LU-60.
