The Belgian newtec MDM9000 is optimized for various fixed and mobile government and defense applications on satellites. The MDM9000 modem is typically installed at both ends of point-to-point satellite links or at remote sites in star networks. Depending on the network configuration, the unit can function as a modulator, demodulator, or modem, seamlessly integrating with ground networks and devices. This modem fully complies with DVB-S2 and DVB-S2X standards while being backward compatible with our S2 extension mode, all aimed at achieving breakthrough efficiency with maximum service availability. In receiver mode, the MDM9000 operates as a demodulator with dedicated intelligence collection capabilities.
