On April 22, 2026, the 32nd China Content Broadcasting Network Exhibition (CCBN2026) officially kicked off in Beijing. At this year’s CCBN, the latest collaboration achievement between LiveU and SONY made its debut. The two parties jointly presented the LiveU TX1, an all-in-one solution designed for the synchronized transmission of footage files during 5G live streaming, enabling true integration of live streaming workflows and file transmission workflows.
Beyond Live Streaming: Accelerated Footage Backhaul
News gathering and on-site production have entered an era prioritizing speed. In addition to stable live broadcasting, media organizations require high-quality original footage to be transmitted back to editing centers at the earliest opportunity for digital platforms, social media content and TV program production. The newly launched solution showcased at the exhibition is tailored precisely to meet this critical demand.
Debut of Sony RXS Connection License in China
LiveU has launched the brand-new Sony RXS Connection License, enabling original footage captured by Sony cameras to be directly transmitted via LiveU devices to Sony’s cloud production platform PWA-RXS. This empowers users with the following capabilities:
- Simultaneous live streaming transmission and footage backhaul
- Compatibility with existing workflows with no modifications required
- Faster delivery of high-quality source footage
- Enhanced efficiency for remote production operations
The first batch of compatible devices will start with the LU300S, with gradual expansion to more LiveU field devices in due course. Two tailored solution options are available to meet diverse on-site operational requirements.
Both solutions leverage LiveU’s patented LRT™ Reliable Transmission Technology to ensure stable and high-speed data delivery even in complex network environments. By enabling both live streaming and footage uploads with a single device suite, LiveU empowers TV stations, media institutions and content teams to respond swiftly to breaking news and live sports events. It streamlines cloud production connectivity and fully adapts to the digital-first content production model.
