The classic Bolero has now added the Bolero Standalone 2110 (AES67) single-unit mode, offering three usage modes—each specifically designed for particular application scenarios.

The Bolero HD voice codec not only offers higher voice clarity but also utilizes the radio frequency spectrum more efficiently, allowing each antenna to accommodate twice the number of belt packs compared to traditional RF bandwidth usage. Riedel's unique ADR technology combines a distinctive RF receiver design with multiple diversity elements, specifically engineered to reduce sensitivity to multipath reflections, enabling Bolero to perform in challenging RF environments that are difficult for other systems to handle.
The waist pack itself features 6 buttons corresponding to 6 internal communication channels or point-to-point communication. In addition, it has a dedicated "Reply" button, allowing for easy callback to the last incoming caller. The Bolero is equipped with a sunlight-readable display, with adjustable brightness and a reversible screen that allows for reading from any direction. Another industry-first feature is that the waist pack can be used independently without a headset, just like a traditional walkie-talkie, utilizing the built-in microphone and speaker. The Bolero waist pack supports Bluetooth, allowing for connection to Bluetooth headsets or smartphones. When connected to a smartphone, the waist pack functions as a hands-free car speaker, enabling users to answer phone calls and communicate through the waist pack's headset.
