Harley NSG9000 RF Module 8R1G

The NSG 8R1G is a QAM RF module used in the high-density Harmonic NSG™9000 universal edge QAM platform. This module features two RF ports, each capable of outputting 1 to 8 QAMs (ITU-T J.83 ANNEX B / C) or 6 QAMs (ITU-T J.83 ANNEX A). The configuration of the RF output ports is highly flexible, allowing for the maximum number of QAMs, with the frequency positions of the QAMs set within a 48MHz block for each port.

The NSG 8R1G can be utilized for various applications, including Video on Demand (VOD), Switched Digital Video (SDV), broadcasting, and DOCSIS-compatible modular CMTS (M-CMTS). As part of the NSG 9000 platform, the 8R1G QAM RF module can be easily and efficiently managed and configured using a standalone Web GUI, Cluster Configuration Tool (MCT), Harmonic NMX™ Digital Service Manager, or any other SNMP-compatible management platform.
