The World Teleport Association (WTA) has announced the finalists for its 2012 Excellence Awards. An outstanding ceremony and luncheon will be held on March 13 in downtown Washington, D.C., to present the winners of the 17th Annual Excellence Awards.
Independent Teleport of the Year:
- Jordan Media City, Jordan
- NewSat Limited, Australia
- RRsat Global Communications, Israel
Teleport Technology of the Year:
- NS3 - NovelSat, Israel - Onebandxin Partner
- Sentry Spectrum Monitoring - Crystal Solutions, USA
- Vulcan L-band matrix (router) – ETL Systems Ltd, UK
The luncheon in 2012 was sponsored by SES, with over 150 guests and client representatives in attendance. Participants also included executives from the teleport, satellite, and content distribution technology industries, as well as previous award recipients invited from around the world.
In addition, to honor the winners of these two award categories, the President and COO of Encompass Digital Media will personally present the final teleportation award.
