Key Features:
Designed for high-demand satellite broadcasting and communication transmission, the NS1000 modulates based on Novelsat's third-generation satellite transmission technology. Completely technology-agnostic, the NS1000 supports all common modulation methods - DVB-S, DVB-S2, and DVB-SNG - making it the only NS3™ enhanced modulator available on the market.
Offering higher spectral efficiency and data transmission rate gains, the NS1000 supports data transmission rates of up to 365Mbps in NS3 operational mode at 70MSPS, compared to the link signal-to-noise ratio of DVB-S2 solutions. While DVB-S2 is limited to 32APSK, NS3 reaches 64APSK - with data rates gaining up to 37%. The NS1000 is the only solution that supports the transmission of a single carrier on a 72MHz transponder, enabling saturated operation.
The NS1000 provides dual-channel support with dual input interfaces - 2XASI, 2XGigabit, and various combinations of ASI and Gigabit. The "dual-channel" option allows any two inputs to operate simultaneously over one carrier, utilizing variable coding modulation (VCM) for each channel with different modulation schemes. The dual-channel operation of the NS1000 also facilitates the combination of Ethernet streams and ASI, easing the migration to IP streams while controlling the QoS of each data stream.
