On November 25, 2020, the National Youth Anti-Drug Knowledge Competition finals concluded in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province. Teams from 31 provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities, and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps fiercely competed in four segments: "Moving Forward," "Who Else But Me," "Keen Eye for Drugs," and "Peak Showdown." Ultimately, the Yunnan team won first prize, while the teams from Jiangsu, Guangdong, and Jiangxi secured second prize. The teams from Sichuan, Guizhou, Hubei, and Xinjiang received third prize, and the teams from Guangdong, Shandong, Jiangxi, Ningxia, and Hunan were awarded the Best Organization Award. The teams from Hainan, Tibet, and Zhejiang won the Most Popular Award, while the teams from Hunan, Shandong, and the Corps received the Best Style Award.
Du Hangwei, Deputy Director of the National Anti-Drug Committee, Member of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Public Security, and Vice Minister, attended the finals and presented awards to the winning teams. Li Chunsheng, Vice Governor of Guangdong Province and Director of the Public Security Department, was also present to award the prizes. Officials from the anti-drug committees and offices of various provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities, and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, as well as representatives from the Ministry of Education, the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League, the All-China Women's Federation, and relevant departments, along with officials from the National Anti-Drug Office and Alibaba Group, were on-site to watch the finals.
Xinhua News Agency, CCTV, China Police Network, China Anti-Drug Network, China Anti-Drug Online Weibo, Tencent News, and other online media provided live broadcasts of the finals, while media outlets such as CCTV and Southern TV recorded the event.
