Starting from September 9, Phoenix Television's three channels (Standard Definition Chinese Channel, Standard Definition News Channel, Standard Definition Movie Channel) will cease broadcasting on the AsiaSat 7/10H (STAR TV) platform.
For viewers of the above standard definition channel Phoenix, if the message "This signal will terminate on September 9, 2014. Please adjust to the latest parameters to continue watching" appears in the upper right corner of the screen, you can adjust your satellite reception parameters to AsiaSat 7/13H as listed in the attached table to continue watching. If there is no message, no adjustment is necessary.

To enhance the broadcast quality of Phoenix Television programs, starting from January 1, 2014, Phoenix Television's Chinese Channel, News Channel, and Hong Kong Channel launched HD channels on the new satellite transponder. The broadcast signal of its standard definition channels was also switched to a 16:9 format on the same day, in line with the new mainstream television sets, to achieve better visual effects.
Liu Changle, Chairman of the Board and CEO of Phoenix Television, previously stated: Phoenix Television has always aimed to provide high-quality programs for the global Chinese community. This transition is a new initiative for Phoenix Television as it moves towards the high-definition era.
